We are looking for a very energetic, assertive person with excellent communication skills. Experience in training, making presentations, or similar skills is strongly preferred. Any experience with supply chain processes in distribution, shipping, warehouse operations would be a plus, but is not required.

Must be skilled in use of PC software. Four year degree is preferred.

Purchasing Analyst

A major retail chain headquartered in New York City (mid-town) is looking for a Purchasing Analyst to do the following: undertake routine buying functions assigned, recommend sources of supply in assigned buying categories, ensuring that suppliers: a) maintain good business practices, b) provide quality products and services, c) offer competitive pricing. Provide analysis, including financial analysis. 

Principle Responsibilities:
· Maintain liaison with suppliers, collect data required for bid decisions.
· Interact with internal clients, the Director of Purchasing and suppliers to gather and disseminate information on requirements
· Prepare financial analysis for assigned commodities and for special projects and develop cost reduction plans. 
· Prepare purchase orders and contacts in accordance with the approved policies and procedures. Ensure that such commitments are within budget. 
· Build a working understanding of the commodities assigned and the operations related to the suppliers. 
· Recommend and rank suppliers based on the evaluation of information gathered regarding supplier performance, products, meeting deadlines, financial stability, competitive pricing etc. 
· Provide advice to internal clients, develop material standards and specifications, recommend changes in specifications, distributions or any part of the supply chain that can reduce costs. 
· Ensure the timely delivery of purchased goods to meet the dates established by the internal client. 

Requirements:
· 5 - 7 years of purchasing experience with a major retail or consumer products company 
· Undergraduate degree, required 
· Strong communication skills and analytical skills 
· Flexibility - able to handle multiple tasks 
· Outstanding PC skills - Word, Excel, etc. 
· Self-starter with the ability to find solutions 
· Knowledge of printing processes (gravure, offset and flexography) for either print or packaging production

IT Auditor Manager

Responsibilities:  Conduct IT and integrated audits. Make recommendations to improve efficiencies, profitability, and internal controls related to the IT business systems and sell the changes to management in a consensus manner. Assess control environment related to company information systems, including areas such as change control, data center operations, network and security (physical and logical), business continuity, and communications systems. Assist in conducting a formal enterprise risk assessment annually to determine the audit plan. Conduct testing on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with Section 302 and 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and implement new controls identified by the Gap Analysis. Review and recommend improvements to policies and procedures. Provide consultative services as requested for computer system implementations. Be able to work with very minimal supervision. Create audit working papers and write effective audit reports.

Required skills: BS/BA Accounting or Information Systems with additional certifications - i.e.: CISA, CISSP, etc. Solid knowledge of current and emerging technology. Prior experience in auditing operating systems, database management, E Business, application and system development, and data center operation. Background in a multi-platform environment specifically including AS/400 and Unix. Excellent negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills.  Four plus years of progressive audit experience preferably in a large retail/distribution environment. Knowledge of computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs).  Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Willing to travel up to 20% domestically. Familiarity with JDA and Lawson applications. Programming capability for data extraction and analysis. Strongly networked and affiliated with professional organizations.. Excellent negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills.
