A Philadelphia area manufacturer is looking for a Web Developer to enhance and maintain the company's websites.
The job involves the following tasks:
a) Development of dynamic web applications utilizing Progress WebSpeed.
b) Translation of raster graphics (Photoshop files and TIFFs) in to browser-neutral XHTML 4.0 compliant XHTML utilizing CSS and DreamWeaver templates.
c) Writing supporting code including JavaScript, Perl, and XSLT to facilitate website functionality.
d) Supporting role in maintenance of IBM IHS Apache 2.0 webserver on AIX 5.2 operating system including log file maintenance and analysis, httpd.conf configuration, scripting application deployment, and security auditing.
e) Maintenance of company domains and DNS records.
f) Analysis of company processes and how they can be better served through web applications. Translation of such processes in to application specifications and development of said applications.
Requirements include:
· Requires Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related area
· 5+ years of on the job Progress WebSpeed and web development experience
