Business Intelligence Analyst Developer – Plymouth Meeting, PA USA

A rapidly growing distributor of industrial products, located about 15 miles west of Philadelphia in Plymouth Meeting PA, is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst / Developer. The person in this role designs, develops, implements a wide range of reporting and analysis needs including the accurate presentation of information from data stored in the Oracle Analytic Cloud environment.


The BI Analyst/Developer will work to understand the enterprise data and then use the technology to help the business solve problems with enterprise analytics and is responsible for building the reports and dashboards to enable the business to make better decisions. This includes the creation of tables and other visualizations, as well as ability to create custom attributes and measures using SQL logic as necessary.


The job duties of the BI Analyst/Developer include:

  • Collaborating with technical team members and business users to gather and understand requirements, determine best solutions, test solutions and demonstrate functionality to end users
  • Design and development of Oracle BI Cloud dashboards, reports and analyses. This includes the creation of tables and other visualizations, as well as ability to create custom attributes and measures using SQL logic as necessary
  • Ability to create easy-to-understand, actionable reporting, dashboards and analyses
  • Use of dashboard prototyping tool for collaboration and gathering feedback from business users
  • Understand complex data architecture including enterprise data warehouse
  • Extracting and combining data from a variety of sources for rapid access to key metrics and measures for data analysis
  • Maintaining and automating existing reports and developing new reports and dashboards to support organizational business needs including utilization management
  • Reviewing reporting processes and recommending new or improved solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy and implement those solutions
  • Assessing and troubleshooting production issues related to reports and data integrity of the information presented
  • Oracle repository (RPD) development to include building of hierarchies and subject areas
  • Collaborate with business management for prioritization of reporting and data-related requests
  • Collaboration with Data Architect and others as needed
  • Creation of end user job aids and training materials
  • Conduct user training via webinars, 1:1 and group sessions (in person and online)
  • User support – report and data issue resolution




  • Ability to understand the data model, including the Repository Database (RPD/Administrative tool), ETL, data warehouse table structure, and data flow between BI system components
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation both for IT and end-user reference
  • Experience in an Oracle environment is a strong plus


Project Manager – Plymouth Meeting, PA USA

A rapidly growing distributor of industrial products, located about 15 miles west of Philadelphia, is looking for a IT Project Manager.  This is a new job and the person applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine software or system functional specifications and requirements. This person may also do analysis to evaluate solutions. The Project Manager then recommends, plans, directs the design, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or related processes in conjunction with user or system design specifications and manages the implementation of same.
