Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Reading, PA

A local manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their IT team. This person will be accountable for supporting and interfacing with end-users on ERP support, reporting and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • IT Generalist
  • ERP Experience – Microsoft Navision preferred
  • Expert with Microsoft Excel and Access
  • EDI Processes and support – SPS or Microsoft Navision preferred
  • Report creation and maintenance – Jet Reports preferred
  • Understanding of databases, SQL and SQL jobs is a plus
  • Sharepoint and Power BI knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Business process design and implementation
  • Soft skills, general troubleshooting & problem resolution – be a key member of a small IT team
  • Food processing or manufacturing experience

Job Requirements

  • Education: BS or higher in Information Technology/Computer Sciences, or equivalent work experience
  • Years of relevant experience: at least 2 years in IT, including hands-on ERP experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Creation of detailed documentation and procedures as related to the job position
  • Effective at managing competing priorities and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively with peers and customers across multiple disciplines, location, and levels
  • Ability to work with people of varying computer literacy/skillsets
  • Analytical and thoughtful mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adaptable to new systems and software, and willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
