Identify Human Resource needs, measure and manage HR metrics and provide HR guidance to all company U.S. locations. Meet all HR requests and requirements to meet company HR and business strategies and goals.
Maintain the following HR policies, procedures and programs: benefit programs: salary administration policies, Hay administration, insurances, pensions, HR practices and procedures, compliance activities with state and federal regulations such as EEO, Fair Labor Standards, OSHA, ERISA, Wage and Hour Laws and the NLRB..
Provide talent management including employee development, training, succession planning, effective Performance Appraisal Reviews, and successful recruiting.
Provide special assistance and organizational analysis concerning areas of organization structure, defining work functions, management and employee relationships, culture and all other organizational dynamics that help to build an effective and cohesive leadership team.
Prepare for, direct and represent the company in collective bargaining, union contract administration and labor laws. Create a positive labor relations climate with the USW plants and maintain non-union status in other facilities. Achieve labor contract settlements within guidelines.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or Labor Relations and a Master’s Degree is highly preferred
Minimum 10- 15 years multi-location HR experience within a manufacturing plant environment.
Must have experience in labor relations and possess the business acumen and skills to represent the management team and serve as company spokesperson for negotiating union labor contracts and experience handling complex organizational issues.
PHR or SPHR-certification preferred; functional HR Generalist Expertise required.
40-45% travel to company location is required.
